Here are the game studios selected for the second edition of Haven! Just as last year, Haven will provide participants with experts and peers to support them in building a sustainable future for their respective studios.
Haven is a support program for new game studios. The program is located in Malmö and run by Game Habitat and Minc in collaboration with WINGS and NyföretagarCentrum. The first edition of the program ran in 2024. The second edition of Haven is running September to December 2025.
The studios selected for the second edition have been chosen based on four parameters: Commercial potential, artistic potential, ambitions and mindset, and diversity representation. One of the goals with Haven is to improve the gender balance and the diversity in the games industry. We’re happy that the selected studios, just as the studios in the first edition, include participants of all backgrounds and genders. We’re also happy that the selections represent a wide variety of games, which we believe have a good chance of impacting the industry.
The Haven program consists of a series of workshops and continuous access to business advisors and peer support. The workshops are for the most part led by distinguished regional games industry experts.

Konditorei Studio
Experienced developer duo that founded their own studio in 2023. Currently developing Edelweiss Knights, a turn-based tactics RPG with puzzle and story-driven elements. Based in Malmö.

Pica Pica Interactive
Newly founded studio consisting of three experienced game developers. Currently developing Piccolo, a hotel simulator and puzzle game for mobile. Based in Malmö.

Newly founded studio consisting of three very experienced game developers. Currently developing Calaboose Rondo, a game full of surprises for the player. Based in Malmö.
Valley Lodge Games
Newly founded studio consisting of three game developers. Currently developing Madame Massacre's Midnight Matinee, a 2D point-and-click horror game in the spirit of mid-century late-night American TV horror programs. Based in Simrishamn.

Experienced developer duo in a newly founded studio. Currently developing Beachsweeper, a cozy wholesome game focusing on exploring and collecting. Based in Hörby.
Smoggers
Six recent The Game Assembly graduates that have worked together for several smaller projects. Currently developing an untitled mystery horror game. Based in Malmö.
Frozen Maracuyas
Four Futuregames students that found traction for one of their school projects are now teaming up to get their first game out to a wider audience. Currently developing Sushi 2 Go, an infinite runner game set on a busy sushi restaurant conveyor belt. Based in Malmö.
